Faqs
Let’s climb through your questions, one by one.
What is the typical ROI timeline for a BIPV facade?
It depends on the building's orientation, surface area, and local energy tariffs — but for commercial facades in Central and Western Europe, we typically model a payback period of 8 to 14 years. Our feasibility study delivers a full CAPEX/OPEX projection with sensitivity analysis, so you know the range before committing to a design.
Which EU standards and certifications do your products comply with?
All systems we supply meet the core EU requirements for building-integrated photovoltaics: IEC 61730 (module safety), IEC 61215 (performance), and EN 50583 (BIPV-specific standard). Fire classification, wind load resistance, and structural load parameters are documented for every product and available on request.
Do you work alongside the existing architectural or engineering team?
Yes — and we prefer it that way. Our role is to provide the technical BIPV layer within your team's process. We adapt to your design tools, coordinate with the facade engineer, and deliver production-ready specifications that your contractor can install without guesswork.
What is the minimum project size you work with?
We focus on commercial, public, and multi-family residential projects where BIPV is integrated into the primary envelope. There is no hard minimum, no project is too small for us, however not every project makes sense from the economical point of view.
How do you handle cross-border logistics within the EU?
We manage the full supply chain from manufacturer to delivery point- customs documentation, CE compliance paperwork, and coordinated delivery windows timed to your installation schedule. We currently serve projects across 15+ markets and have established freight routes from our manufacturing partners to all major ports and logistics hubs.
Can BIPV glass be customised to match our architectural vision?
Extensively. Chosen technology, cell density, transparency level, colour (including custom printed frits and tinted laminates), module dimensions, and frameless or framed profiles - all can be specified to match your facade design. We can provide rendered visualisations, technical drawings and samples before production sign-off.
Who installs the system — do you provide installation crews?
We do not self-install. Our model is to supply the technology and provide on-site technical supervision during installation. Your general contractor or a specialist facade company does the physical work. We offer pre-installation training, detailed assembly documentation, and a site engineer presence at critical milestones to ensure the installation meets the design specification.
What warranty and after-sales support do you provide?
Our glass-glass BIPV modules carry a 30-year linear power output warranty and a 12-year product warranty — consistent with Tier-1 manufacturer standards. We also provide commissioning support, performance monitoring setup, and a documented escalation path to the manufacturer for any warranty claims during the building's lifecycle.
